This week's coffee: Ethiopian Yirgacheffe

This week's coffee is Ethiopian Yirgacheffe...

Ethiopia is where coffee originated! "Bun" is Ethiopian for "coffee" and "Kaffa" is the region where it was originally found growing wild. So "Kaffa Bun" may be the origin of our "Coffee Bean".
Now Ethiopia is the world's 7th largest producer of coffee and produces some of the most sought after beans.

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe beans are wet processed before roasting. This gives them a brighter acidity and a cleaner taste as opposed to a dry processed beans which yield more of an earthier taste.

This aromatic brew gives off a subtle floral scent with notes of citrus. The coffee has a vibrant,  honey sweet taste with undertones of fruit and wine.
