Roasted Nuts

A few drops of hazelnut and almond extracts, some toffee syrup, blended into our fantastic sweet espresso, and you have the base to one of our most rich yet delicate specials created!

We roasted the almonds, pecans, and walnuts ourselves and crushed them together with some raw cane sugar and a dash of cinnamon.  This creates the perfect finish to a whip-topped delight that is sure to become an addiction!

Hey, nuts are good for you, right?

New Specials for the New Year

White Chocolate has to be the epitome of gourmet flavour.  Its delicate creaminess blends into the milk so effortlessly and fulfills all your cravings for warm and fuzzy during these chill weeks.  Try it as White Hot Chocolate, or go for the menu special, White Chocolate Mocha.

Cider Chai is a new twist on two favourites.  Delicious Hot Apple Cider spiced up with Chai Tea. We can even throw a shot of caramel and some whipped cream on top to take it to the next level.

We’re making use of our new coffee toy we got for Christmas.  Featuring the Aerobe Aeropress Coffee Maker…  This is a single-cup coffee maker which produces the most smooth, rich cup we’ve ever tasted!  We steamed some milk and topped it off, creating the Aeropress Au Lait (pron. “o’lay”, or “with milk”).  Don’t be shy, try one today.  You may discover true love

Also on the New Menu is a unique latte of our own creation.  Termed " Roasted Nuts Latte", we tossed together a blend of nutty flavours that dance on the tongue.  Almonds, Hazelnuts, Walnuts and Pecans... what do you taste?

Plus:
Egg Nog Chai

Egg Nog Latte

and
Salted Caramel Mocha

all still popular and featured here!

October is Anniversary Month!

Thinking back on the last couple years, its amazing how far we've come, and how graciously our town has accepted us and allowed us to grow!  It's hard to imagine what it was like without the coffee shop.  Here are a few of the first pictures snapped just before the shop opened, and some of the first shots of Open Mic.

The original sign by Delmar.

The first set up, before we had much furniture.

The view from behind the counter. The walls look so bare!

Our Open Mic has been extremely popular and well-received by local musicians off all ages.  As word spread that a coffeehouse in Monongahela had a great music scene, music enthusiasts came from all around to crowd in on Open Mic Nights.  Here are a few of the first images captured of "OMN @ MCS".

Here is a before and after comparison of the storefront.

Prior to renovations it was a dusty, narrow shop with fluorescent lighting and water damage.  After we raised the ceiling, took down the walls, reconstructed, painted, and installed new flooring and lighting, it was fit for a real coffeehouse to move in.  However, a coffeehouse is nothing without people.  People to sing, read, play games and music, communicate, fellowship, learn and build together.  Its the customers, family, friends of My Coffee Shop that have made it a real coffeehouse, and made it "their own".
We are honored and happy to be your coffee shop!!

Pumpkin Pie Latte!!!

Nothing compliments those crisp, orange and gold Autumn mornings more than the Pumpkin Spice Latte. This drink is like a slice of spiced pumpkin pie!

If you are more of a tea person, try the chai!

A sweet and spicy treat!
